Fascinating and rather awful article.
Of interest to me:
“An ’emerging progressive majority’ is a realistic possibility in terms of demographic and voting patterns. But it is incomplete in terms of organizing and political work. Women, communities of color, and highly educated professionals are core parts of the progressive coalition. Nationally, and in key battleground states, their influence is growing,” the memo explains.
What's not mentioned, but I'm sure is understood by those reading the memo, is precisely who will be leading this "emerging progressive majority."
And the answer, of course, is that this "emerging majority" is intended to be controlled by this small number of left-leaning billionaires who control the purse strings to all of the interwoven little organizations that they've used with such success.
And because they control the purse strings, they also control the nozzle through which "outrage" may be directed to further their ends. And their essential control of the media echo chamber ensures that this "outrage" will overwhelm any opposition, not to mention preventing coverage of important stories.
The
only remedy for this is sunlight -- sunlight on the shady bastards who are pulling the strings.
