Battleground Tracker: FBI News Has Little Impact on Voters

News of the reopened investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server has reached 80 percent of the respondents in the latest CBS News Battleground Tracker, but it has done little to impact the race as support for each respective candidate remained partisan, according to the poll.

Some of the highlights of the poll include:

    Only 5 percent likely Democratic voters say the news make it less likely to vote for Clinton.
    71 percent say it won't change their vote, or they have already voted.
    Only 5 percent say it depends on the findings of the investigation in how it might impact their vote.
    52 percent expect the results to confirm "more of what we already know."
    48 percent, mostly Republicans, expect things to be more damaging to Clinton.

The poll's findings also suggest voters are not changing their minds amid the news, because only around one-third of her supporters in battleground states of Pennsylvania and North Carolina believe her to be "honesty and trustworthy" anyway. Also, around one-third of Clinton's own supporters do not view her as honest in Colorado and North Carolina, according to poll results.

The Battleground Tracker has Clinton leading three of the four states polled. Clinton leads Trump 48 to 40 percent in Pennsylvania, by three in North Carolina and Colorado, while Trump leads Clinton 44 to 42 percent in Arizona.

If the FBI probe causes 26 percent of Republicans (mostly women) to "come home" to Trump, then it's game over for Clinton.  Also, notice that there is no reporting on what non-affiliated voters are saying.  This is simply Clinton BS from CBS, which daily proves that Pravda is alive and well in the USA.  This is a real shame from the network of Edward R. Morrow and Walter Cronkite.

I think if Trump supporters were polled on the sexual assault claims brought forward by the 10-15 women so far many would say "more likely to support". You are right Liberals are a scary bunch...
