The argument was made during Bill Clinton's term that these are important because it opens up the person to extortion and blackmail. I remember a lot of discussion during Bill Clinton's revelations about how the Chinse or others may find out about other affairs and use it to blackmail him into favorable decisions.
As a question of character, it is indeed an indicator, but we already know that Trump has a shady character. So does the gal. In fact, hers is far worse. She can be blackmailed for scandals a whole lot worse than grabbing someones buttocks or talking vulgar.
Besides, the media told us during the Clinton regime that "sex doesn't matter, and we prudes should just shut up about it and get with the times."
We also have the issue of the FBI files Hillary supposedly has. Rumor is many of these have information on powerful people's affairs and she uses those to extort favors and manipulate things her way.
That would tend to explain a lot about how she keeps getting away with stuff that would get anyone else sent to prison.
So yes, in that sense, it is important to know if the potential leader meets at least minimally reasonable behavior standards to protect himself from extortion.
Trump doesn't care. Hillary has a lot worse skeletons in the closet for which she can be extorted. Of course with her mindset, she will probably just order "hits" on anyone attempting to extort her.
