Other than they are being trolled with this, the other reason that is a bad idea is if a bunch of people show up at the polling place at the same time, color coordinated like this, it could be looked at as electioneering (attempting to influence the vote at the polls) and they all could be kicked out and prevented from voting.

I doubt that just showing up to vote wearing anything red (absent the MAGA hats, etc.) would get anyone kicked out and or prevented from voting. However, a large number of people wearing red and hanging out outside of the polling place and doing things like taking pictures of or harassing or following voters not wearing red, or conducting their own unofficial pre or post-vote polls – yes those might get some folks into trouble.
And the whole idea is stupid anyway. It presumes that everyone voting for Trump gets the “memo” and will know to wear red and that anyone not voting for Trump will know not to wear red.
So what happens if some self-appointed Trump “Poll Watcher” stands outside of my precinct from opening to closing and counts the number of people wearing anything red and then compares that to the number of votes cast for Trump and claims ELECTION FRAUD!!!. “I counted 500 people wearing red but you only recorded 450 votes for Trump!”
Of course I’m sure it wouldn’t work the other way, say he counted 500 people wearing red yet 600 votes for Trump. What is he going to do? Tell the election judge that they over-counted the Trump votes by 100 and that they should be counted for Hillary?
I already have my outfit for election day picked out. I’m wearing all black.
