Washington (CNN)Former Rep. Joe Walsh appeared to call for armed revolution Wednesday if Donald Trump is not elected president.

Walsh, a former tea party congressman from Illinois who is now a conservative talk radio host, tweeted, "On November 8th, I'm voting for Trump. On November 9th, if Trump loses, I'm grabbing my musket. You in?"

Walsh did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment. But he did respond to CNN's Jake Tapper via Twitter when he asked: "What exactly does that mean?"

Imagine if a rat Congressman tweeted "If Trump wins, I'm grabbing a big sharp pointy knife that stabs real good.   What could that mean?  The guy could be into whittling wooden boats.  Where is the incitement for violence?

If I were still a Republican, I'd be cheering on Walsh's bravado too.

The good news, Congressman Joe, is we already had a rebellion and revolution during the GOP primaries.  The bad news is the GOPe lost bigly, and the lunatic is running the asylum.

Congressman Walsh calling out to raise arms after Trump's defeat is pitiful, loud, and hollow...and it fits perfectly with the archetypical drive-by media caricature of the GOP.

I wish these clowns would quit dancing around, cowboy up and say what they mean.

Our nation's founders openly admitted to committing treason against Great Britain while laying out their reasons for doing so. They risked everything and in many cases lost everything.

Guys like Walsh want to talk tough but don't have what it takes to give up the comfortable life.
