GOP candidates give up on Trump and run against Clinton

Congressional Republicans dig up their 1996 strategy and run as a check on a Clinton White House.

Republicans, desperate to salvage their congressional majorities amid Donald Trump’s collapse, are increasingly presenting themselves as checks on a Hillary Clinton presidency – a final argument that, if only implicitly, concedes the White House to Democrats.

The offensive, which has been under discussion for months and is only now being unleashed, is designed to win over voters who want to see Clinton’s powers curtailed – even as she closes in on a potentially sweeping national victory.

Slightly confusing.

Donald Trump is battling Hillary Clinton for the presidency and is a Republican.

This house of cards of those who say they are against Hillary, but relentlessly slave against Donald Trump is not even a good fake.

Another fake indicator here is why did they WAIT until three weeks before the election to announce they will NOW run against Hillary Clinton?

fake, fake, fake fake fake ..

Nice to see some people coming to their senses.  Not only is Trump not going to win, he's. It even running against Clinton in the sense of going after her on issues - he hasn't said shit about the impending Obamacare disaster - he's running against the down-ballot republicans.

Too little, too late, and nothing more than puffery.  Furthermore, since Trump has single-handedly destroyed republican control of the Senate, he won't ever get that bill in the first place.  How stupid do you have that be to not realize that you need to control Congress to get your legislation passed?  A democrat-controlled Senate, which Trump has now guaranteed, will never pass a repeal bill.

"Trump says" is meaningless. Whatever "Trump says" is negotiable...AKA a flat out lie to get what he wants at any cost.
