I wonder...if your daughter or female member of your family gets groped or is sexually harassed...are you going to blame them for the attack or unwanted advances like you're doing with these women?

@txradioguy
My daughter wouldn't be a porn 'actress' nor would she wait 20 years to make a claim if she were assaulted.

By the way, groping someone isn't an 'advance', its sexual assault.   An advance is "hey you wanna go out for dinner", or "thats a beautiful dress" or any number of other things which happen daily.

Doesn't matter if she waited 20 years. 20 years ago Trump wasn't running for President. all that matters right now, today, is whether or not it's true. It speaks to the growing body of evidence he thinks he can do as he pleases and that is the very thing we hated about Obama with his "Pen and phone' governance.

Shouldn't matter her profession.  And you don't know for sure how your daughter or a family member would react in that kind of situation.  There is a level of embarrassment and shame and fear of not being believed that cause women to not tell even their closest family members what happened to them.

Especially if they hear said loved one denigrating one of the women who is accusing Trump.

I know the difference...I was saying either or.  And unwanted sexual advance is also "hey why don't we go back to my plac"...etc.

I've been in the military for almost 20 years...we get it drilled into us what both are.

@driftdiver

Yeah - vote Cruz. He won't win, but if either one of these jackasses wins, America loses.

Hopefully it won't be so bad that Cruz can come rescue us in four years. That, or, Texas secedes and we move there - although they are now supposedly a toss-up.

Forget it. The country is already burning uncontrollably. Time to go Galt.
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

Why do you post these false accusations, based on faulty logic, @driftdiver ?

Even if one cannot come up with a "better alternative" the accusation that one is, as a result, "cheering the burning down of our country" is utterly preposterous.

For me, personally, the better alternative is to vote for a person who won't require confession to an Almighty God after I mark my ballot.

If I vote for either Trump or Clinton, that's what I would have to do.  Beg forgiveness.......

And I am weeping that the Trumpists and MEDIA who forced this cretin on us, have caused the burning down of America, regardless of who is elected.

Of course not.

Defense of Trump's perversion on a computer has nothing to do with real life.

If Trump came after any Trumpist's daughter (as he might well do) they would protect their daughter against his assault.

It's other people's daughters that they don't give a rip about.

Hey! Look on the bright side. He's just given permission to anyone who wishes to to grope both his wife and his daughter with zero repercussions.

After all, they were models. They are used to it. Not as if it hasn't happened before, right?

I really want a spit emoji now.

Do you have a better alternative?   Or do you just want to cheer the burning down of our country?

Yes, it is simple.

1. Vote for the candidate that comes close to matching your values and that you can trust to uphold them.
2. Stop looking for someone from the government to help. Stop expecting a white knight from Washington DC to fix your problems and force your solutions.

I have news for you also, the country already is burning down. It has been doing so for a long time. One of the very reasons it is burning down is due to people treating politics like a game or like Santa Claus. People, including those on the Right, started looking for a government 'who is here to help'. They started treating politics like a football game and cheered the letter on the jersey, not the values.

To me, and many others, not accepting the R versus D game, when it has become as vile as it has this election cycle, is doing our part to stop the burning.

People have been saying they are tired of 'establishment games' yet the very game they play is to demand you vote for the party over your values... just hold your nose and vote.. over and over, expecting different results.

Many if not most of us have not changed our values or given those up, on the contrary, we are being consistant. Everything I've been saying about Trump now, William F Buckley warned us about in 2000 and Andrew Breitbart warned us about in 2012. (hell, even Jim Robinson at FR called out the orange con man then).

We are being consistent with that.

Disagree. If they cared about their own wives/daughters, they wouldn't enable their potential molester/assaulter/rapists.

Clearly they DO NOT care about their own wives/daughters. One cannot draw some imaginary line between theirs and someone elses. If they think it's OK for one, then it is OK for all whether they want it or not. Thats how reality works.

If they want to play word games, thats their problem. But words mean things. If they want to play politics with women's safety, it just shows how degraded they have become in their liberalism.

Cruz isn't on the ballot anymore in most places.   Regardless of what Texas does having Hillary and the muslim global train as a neighbor would be a bad idea.

Nope. Not one word I typed is 'fast and loose' with anything. One cannot approve of or dismiss sexual assault by one man and not another based on who the victim is. Someone that tries is an enabler.

I read recently a good quote.

People like Donald Trump are the reason a Brock Turner thinks it is OK to rape a woman.
Lawyers like Hillary Clinton are the reason rapists like Brock Turner get out of jail.

1.  There isn't one on the ballot that has a chance of winning.
2.  Looking to the govt?  What a stupid thing to say.  The President of the United States is the most powerful person in the world and can have tremendous impact on every aspect of our lives.

Trumps a bufooon and a very very poor choice.   The alternate is worse.    People ignore politics and only want to bitch about it afterwards.   I wonder how many folks here have ever been to a local meeting?  How many have actually helped a candidate of their choice?

Who is approving?  Who is dismissing?   Millions of lives will be impacted by this election.   Its far larger then what allegedly happened to one person 20 years ago.

You're convicting without evidence.  Something which is unconstitutional.

Evidence is Donald Trumps own words in Radio, in books, on TV.

We know from several years of arguing on FR you will justify any liberal the GOP fronts while trying to excuse your actions at having approved of said liberals with both your vote and your excuses for why everyone must degrade themselves as you have.

See the part I added in bold, that's where you added in the self-defeating opinion that the establishment pushes.

People don't vote for the alternative candidate because they are told they don't have a chance of winning.
Why don't they have a chance of winning?
Because people don't vote for them because they are told they don't have a chance of winning.

See how that works?

In reality, looking at our history of elections, they do have a chance of winning- albeit small, but it is there. All people need to do is reject the establishment rules of the game.

Three times in our history, the vote was decided by the House. Three of our Presidents claimed no party affiliation (Washington, Tyler, Johnson). Three other Presidents came from what would be described as third parties (Lincoln, Harrison, Johnson). Out of 44 Presidential races, those are not bad odds.

The only thing that will change things is if people stand up, one by one, and make that decision themselves instead of going along with the flow because they have been convinced that is the only choice they have. Winners write their own rules, losers sit back and blindly accept ones shoved at them.

Why not respond to the substance of what I posted @driftdiver ?

Why do you believe that not having an alternative to voting for either EVIL candidate other than voting for a candidate who is not evil is pro-actively "CHEERING" the burning of America?

Address the substance of that question with a logical response, please.

Wishful thinking isn't a strategy. 3rd party candidates haven't stood a chance since Ross Perot did what he did.  At most they can take votes away from one candidate but they cannot and will not get enough to win.  Why?  Because nobody has any confidence that they can.

Perhaps if one of the 3rd party candidates had significant numbers in the polls it might be worth it, but they don't.   And IF Gary Johnson were to win he is nothing but a pothead socialist pretending to be a libertarian.   He's more dangerous than Trump.
