A liberal activist and organizer coordinated with reporters from the conservative news site Breitbart during the primaries to cover his disruptions of events for candidates such as Sen. Marco Rubio.

Aaron Black, an associate with Democracy Partners and a former Occupy Wall Street organizer, worked with the pro-Trump site Breitbart, tipping them off about his stunts, exchanging raw video and coordinating coverage, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.

You'll have to explain with either. Trump has no Conservative foundation and as a populist who has promised to make deals with the Democrats, the chances of his SCOTUS nominations being any different are slim to none. This was a hostile takeover of the GOP,  engineered, it appears, by Trump with the help of liberal allies. 

What conclusions may be drawn?

First, no real conservative should feel the least bit of loyalty to the top of the GOP ticket.   IMO,  the GOP simply didn't put up a candidate for President this year.   

Second,  to get our party back it is necessary to ensure Trump's utter repudiation.   For the first time,  I'm thinking seriously of not just declining to vote for Trump,  but to affirmatively - especially here in Pennsylvania, the ultimate swing state - vote for Clinton.   Not out of support for the harridan, but to send a message to Trump and his death-eaters that their day is done.

I've been long assuming I'd write in McMullin,  or else vote for Johnson/Weld.

But as the duplicity of Trump and his supporters becomes clearer,  I'm beginning to believe that's a cop-out.

Trump doesn't just deserve to not be supported.   He deserves to be defeated , to be ground into fine power and scattered to the winds.    And the most effective way for a conservative to defeat Trump is to vote for Clinton and vote GOP down ticket.

You are giving both Clinton and Trump what they want doing that.

Stick with your values and vote your values. A third party vote, by the math, is far more valuable anyway. Plus, it will send a message to the Republicans if many people vote third party, about the shift in the where their 'customer' base is going so it could cause them to shift that direction to pick customers back up. If Republicans shift to Democrats out of spite, the Republican party may see that as their customer base shifting left and they'll move further left to pick them up.

In other words, it is always right to vote your values, never right to compromise them.

At that, when people start to try to tell you or make justifications to go against your values, that is the time you can be sure you need to double down on staying true to your values.
