CAVEAT: USE YOUR OWN DISCERNMENT TO DETERMINE WHICH OF THIS POLLS ARE AN ACCURATE REFLECTION OF WHAT THE ELECTORATE WOULD DO THIS COMING NOVEMBER. CRITIQUES OF THE POLLING METHODOLOGIES WELCOME.

Summary of Polls as at October 17,2016

LATimes/USC -Daily Tracking- Trump up by 1.1%. Up from 0.6 yesterday. This poll is an outlier, but it seems to be CONSISTENTLY showing Trump with the lead even during the "groping" controversy.

PPD Daily tracking Poll - Trump holding steady. Up 1.8%

Rasmussen White House Watch -Hillary retakes the lead, +2. 43-41. Trump was leading this poll until the "scandal" broke.

Battleground - Hillary +8. A poll with a respected track record. Samples Democrats at +4 ( which I think is reasonable ). NOTE: Sample dates are from 10/8 - 10/13 ( at the height of the groping scandal ).

WashPost/ABC - Hillary up 4. Sample is D+2 among likely voters.

NBC/WSJ - Hillary WAY UP. Sample was D+7  (depending on how you interpret the soft/leaning Ds and Rs. If you want to include the leaners, it's D+7. If not, D+9.
