Clinton to Trump Supporters: You’re All Rednecks

Former president Bill Clinton openly mocked Donald Trump supporters as “your standard redneck” at a voter rally for his wife Hillary on Tuesday.

“You know, look man, the other guy’s base is what I grew up in,” Clinton chided. “I was basically your standard redneck.”

Merriam-Webster defines the term ‘redneck’ as disparaging, a person “who is seen by others as being uneducated and having opinions and attitudes that are offensive.”

More importantly, it refers to white, small-town southerners. In other words, a group of people the Clintons look upon as irredeemable racists.
