Pence says Trump campaign will release evidence 'before the day is out' to prove groping accusers are lying

Donald Trump's VP pick continues to defend him on TV
Said on CBS that the campaign is collecting evidence to show the women alleging he groped and kissed them are liars
Pence said he expects that proof to be surfaced by day's end
Trump has said his accusers fabricated the stories

Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence said Friday morning that Donald Trump's campaign is getting ready to release evidence debunking a series of women's claims that he sexually assaulted them.

Trump has vehemently denied the allegations, calling them 'fabrications' and 'smears' cooked up by Hillary Clinton's campaign and a compliant mass media in an effort to derail his White House bid.

On 'CBS This Morning,' Pence said that 'frankly, I think even before the day is out there will be more evidence publicly that shows and calls into questions these latest allegations.'

All of them? I very much doubt that. Besides, trump himself fessed up to the behavior so how is he gonna now credibly 'prove' they lie? He has multi-angle camera footage from all of them? Including teenage beauty contestant dressing rooms?

OK it wouldn't shock me if he had THAT footage...

I'm really curious.....

as to how Trump intends to prove a negative (assuming that what the women said happened didn't happen).  This should be yet another "first" if Trump pulls it off.

I'm waiting for them to prove the reason he tried to get Nancy O'Dell fired from hosting one of his pageants.
Some people are saying that it's because she refused to sleep with him, but others are saying it's because she was pregnant and he doesn't like the way pregnant women look.

Somehow this will just get "forgotten" about; nothing will show up today, but there will be some new hoo-ha today or this weekend and nobody will take him to account for the failure.

Probably because the mudslinging has hit saturation levels. As far as much of the general public is concerned, they're both abominable people unfit for office. My guess is, most people would rather them not talk about themselves in the next debate, but instead focus on substance and policy. Obviously Clinton has great reason not to let the debate become substantive, so we'll see. I'm hoping Trump blows this off entirely at the next debate and goes right to his policy proposals with a positive vision for the country.

"Call into question" and proof something did not happen are light years away from each other.

Didn't Trump settle out of court with at least one of these women? Where was this evidence Pence speaks of then?

While I have been saying the same as Ann I'll just quote her for you

Trump said: "When you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the bleep. You can do any of that. (Laughter.)" Journalists turned this into "sexual assault" by being literal on the "grab" part, non-figurative on the "you" part -- and on the "they let you do it" part? Stone, cold deaf.

If "they let you do it," it's not an assault.

The one defending themselves for the next two weeks rather than driving home what they will do as President will be the loser. Trump being the way he is cant help himself... He is not capable of putting criticism behind him.

I can't imagine another four years of Twitter wars and bombastic statements from Trump. At least with Hillary, it's a good bet that she'll be spending a lot of time at Camp David "recharging her batteries." Two years in the office will do her in, and we've learned that Tim Kaine is just another Howdy Doody.

My vote will be a write in.

The only hope now is that Hillary's Presidency is an epic fail.  As I'm sure it will be.

Gator, the next four years will be fraught with peril, IMO, no matter who wins. The laws of economics are not to be trifled with, and there will be a reckoning for the central bank policies over the last decade.

Trump/Ailes TV will have a lovely stable of A-holes attacking hitlery at every turn for the next four years.

@jpsb

Then why did Rudy Giuliani admit that it was sexual assault?  Shouldn't a former prosecutor know what he's talking about?

Look at what Trump said and then apply your own common sense.  "They let you do it" means he gets away with it with no consequences.  He admitted that he kissed the women without asking, right?  Okay.   Do you actually think he asked their permission before he grabbed their genitals?  "Hey, can I grab you down there?"  Come on.

At least with Hillary, it's a good bet that she'll be busy selling her office to foreign dictators and special interests. Edited for truth.

Hopefully Trump keeps the bombast going and you still have to read it regardless of whether or not he's President. It would be just punishment for letting petty things come ahead of country.

It sounds like a sad optimism if you think Hillary will be "too tired" to dismantle the constitution. I agree that her health is an issue...that's part of the reason why we've been going all in on Bill Clinton! Not to mention, Hillary is just a vessel for her donors. All she needs to be able to do is hold a pen...or maybe someone else hold it for her and help her sign.

If he'd "fessed up" to assault then he'd be long gone. The TBR schmeckel chamber is absurd.

Russia has installed in Syria its' most advanced anti-air system the s-400.

The S-400 system is capable of seeing, targeting and taking out any aircraft in our inventory. Off the coast of Syria the US Navy has equally capable anti-air systems.

Hillary wants to impose a no fly zone over Syria. Russia is currently conducting air operations over Syria at the request of the government of Syria. So the US and it's NATO allies declare a "No Fly Zone" over Syria, Russia ignores it, the US Navy downs a Russian war plane, a Russia missile launched from the black sea takes out the the US ship that took out the Russian war plane, the US Navy launches an attack on the Russian fleet in the black sea and it's game on global thermal nuclear war. Think about that when you decide not to vote for Trump.

Sexual harassment is NOT ok.  Not now and not back then, when Trump was running amuck and grabbing/groping females he didn't even know.  It doesn't really matter if it's considered assault or not.  It's the blatant disrespect for women shown by Trump, even now, that matters re: the voter perception that he would be an absolute disaster as president.

I do. My common sense lets me see you fabricating this: "Do you actually think he asked their permission before he grabbed their genitals?"

@endicom

Well?  Do you?  Do you think he asked them if he could grab their crotches when he didn't ask if he could kiss them?  What groper does that?

And why did the former prosecutor, Giuliani, admit it was indeed sexual assault?

I don't know and I don't care, IMHO Giuliani is mistaken.

What I care about is stopping Hillary from destroying the country and probably starting ww3.  At this point only Trump can prevent Hillary from taking office and that to me is much more important than some 11 year old private trash talking between two guys.
