The pundit class scoffs at the idea that McMullin is one to lead that charge. They paint him as one of the very insiders that we allegedly oppose.

But the evidence is the opposite.

While those with the political capital to spend deemed cowardice and lock-step to be a safer route, McMullin risked his entire career to stand up to the GOP candidate. He took the laughs. He took the mockery.

And now he's poised to take Utah.

It's unheard of and it's not in the script. And yet it's happening.

I think it is good that he could take Utah.  But I will not support him because he is too big government for my tastes.  Plus he paints with a harsh and wide brush by labeling Republicans as racist.  I find that offensive.  Trump and his supporters have issues in that area.  It is more out of a reaction to what they view as unfair favoritism to minorities...not that it excuses them.  But it is important to not misdiagnose the problem.  A small number of them are flat out racist.  A good many of them are too willing to tolerate it.  But saying Republicans have a racist problem is just taking a cheap shot to score points for himself.  Democrats have a racist problem, too.  It's just no one ever calls them on it.

 He also buys into the liberal criminal justice reform and anti-poverty big government programs.  Government is not the answer.  A weaker, politicized and federalized criminal justice system is not the answer.  He is also not strong enough on the social issues, imo.  So I have those problems with him.  But he is a better person than Trump or Hillary.  So there is that.  I'm still voting Castle.  If I could write in anyone and have it count, I would be voting for Roy Moore.  He is my dream candidate.

You think McMillan is a bad dude, but Castle who has openly opined that 911 was an inside job starting with Nixon, Angela Merkel is Hitlers biological daughter and is a full out Birther is A O K?

HRC is the next President anyway. This will change nothing. McMullin, Castle, Johnson are all chasing the same pool of voters, who would normally be voting GOP. That the election would go to the 12 amendment is delusional. If you could convince HRC voters to go 3rd party... maybe. But they're pretty much falling in line behind Clinton as expected, like the mindless robot chumps they are.

Bingo.. There is a reason why we keep losing. A lot of Conservatives do not see the big picture. I know Trump is going to lose, it is just matter of how bad. What I'm talking about that voting 3rd party cost us various races, like the Virginia Governor Race, and the Virginia Senate Race. I also think that people voted 3rd party cost Mitt some votes in the 2012 elections cause he wasn't pure enough.


Here is the fact. In this country, only the main two candidates is likely the winner. Sorry that is the fact. Unless you want a parliamentary form of Government, only two people has a chance of winning.


I'm still voting for Trump unless the video showing him saying the N word is true.


Also I hope we stop the purity test and circular firing squad.

It's like conservatives have become so used to losing that they're actually OK with it. I can tell you that the liberals are in no way OK with Donald Trump, or any Republican, winning.

Democrats target the low information voters. They're not interested in nit picking every aspect of the candidate - they only care about what they have to offer them. Others have been so terrorized by Dem politicians of the "Republican boogeyman" that there is no need for a purity test for the Dem candidate.
