First post-debate poll shows Clinton gained NOTHING although voters think she won - and three quarters of Republicans want to keep Trump on ticket

Hillary Clinton is at 42 per cent , according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll - the same as pre-debate and publication of Trump's lewd video
Trump is at 37 per cent - one point higher than he was before the debate and the footage where he talked about grabbing women 'by the p***y'
And although three quarters of Republicans say their party is divided, 77 per cent want Trump to stay on the ticket
An updated NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll put Trump nine points behind at 37 to Clinton's 46 - slightly less than the weekend's 11-point gap
The November 8 election is less than a month away

Hillary Clinton is flatlining in the polls even though voters think she won the second debate - and despite the Republican Party's meltdown following the release of Trump's video.

Clinton captures 42 per cent of the vote to Trump's 37 per cent, according to a Politico/Morning Consult poll conducted the day after the debate, and published Tuesday. Libertarian Gary Johnson gets 10 per cent and the Green Party's Jill Stein gets 3.

Clinton's share is the same as it was in surveys both before and after the release of the video showing Trump making lewd remarks about women.
