He has no interest in the GOP except as a player in the bizarrre alternate reality show that runs inhis head, where it's all about him. There was absolutely no excuse for letting him be the GOP candidate, a position he obtained only through a couple of flukes, such as the presence of so many (good) candidates that it enabled him to get a plurality of votes in some races, because all the loonies unanimously chose Trump while the sane divided their votes among the decent and actually Republican candidates.
I really hope he continues to make clear his hatred for the GOP, because it might give us a shot at rebuilding the party someday.
That said, has anybody had a strong enough stomach to visit FR? I did, and it's frightening. I have never seen so much foul-mouthed, hate-filled raving in my life. They are all pledging their allegiance to "Donny" and literally wishing to assault or kill those who oppose him.
