A child rape victim says she cannot forgive Hillary Clinton for defending her rapist in court 40 years ago, saying the Democratic presidential candidate attacked her credibility despite knowing that her assailant was guilty – and  later laughed about it in a taped interview.

Kathy Shelton was just 12 years old when a 41-year-old drifter raped her on the side of a desolate Arkansas road in 1975.

Now, four decades later, she has agreed to be named and pictured for the first time in this Daily Mail Online exclusive because she is furious that her rapist's defense attorney - Hillary Clinton - has been portraying herself as a lifelong advocate of women and girls on the campaign trail.

Regardless, Clinton is deplorable.  Do you actually think that this absolves Clinton or make her innocent of any wrong doing??
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Meh.  She was a public defender at the time.  They don't get to pick and choose who they defend.

Exactly, plus they have an ethical obligation to render the best defense possible something a victim of a crime naturally can't understand.

One (out of about ten million ) reasons why lawyers are so unpopular is that in a large proportion of legal matters one side or the other walks away very unhappy and dissatisfied. Anyone with any experience in our legal system quickly discovers it is a legal system not a justice system..

But, lying about the victim is "rendering the best defense"?  I guess it's all about how you define "best".

Maybe, maybe not.  Laughing about it later makes her deplorable.

This is idiotic.  It was her sworn duty to zealously represent her client.  And it is a lawyer's obligation to represent those who are unpopular.  A jewish lawyer represented the American Nazi party against the Village of Skokie, IL, in defending their first amendment rights.  Skokie, IL, btw, at the time had a large population of concentration camp survivors.

Let me get this straight:

Trumproids want us to go back 40 years to rip Clinton for her role as a public defender but don't want us to go back 11 years to judge Trump for advocating for sexual assault.
Roy Moore's "spiritual warfare" is driving past a junior high without stopping.
