They don't need her any more; in fact, even if she was pure as the driven snow it wouldn't serve their purposes to have her hanging around, possibly saying things that were not straight in line with the pitch - the narrative - the Clinton team is now putting on the story. She will most likely disappear - too busy, out of the country on business, or vacation, what have you - until after the election. The story has already done maximal damage and how Clinton simply needs to keep salting the wound it caused. All they need do is keep the original story alive, and a lot of independent/uncommitted women voters will remember it come time to cast a vote; rather, they'll remember the version that Trump allowed Clinton to put into the permanent election narrative.
