I think he is a ring kisser because he ALWAYS kisses the nominee ring.  It is the same answer every time.  Sowell is one who said in previous columns that Trump was reminiscent of Hitler and Mussolini.  And he will now vote for him because Hillary is worse?  If I remember correctly, he laid out the very situation we are in now, the anger and all of it, and said it was so similar to what made Germany want Hitler.  Yes, Sowell is a ring kisser for this.  Is there no floor?  Is there no circumstance where he would not vote for the Republican nominee?  If not, he is a ring kisser.

For the record, I have been a big fan of Sowell for years.  He is sometimes too libertarian for my taste.  He has grown more in that direction over the years.  One time he made an argument that we should legalize a market in body parts if people wanted to buy and sell them.  Something like that.  It has been years ago so I only remember the topic and my shocked reaction.  He is usually more sane than that.  But he has a long long history of believing in voting for the lesser of two evils.  Still, he is the one who compared Trump to Hitler and Mussolini.  Ring kisser.

I have no use for these people who call Trump "a sociopath" and compare him to Hitler, then vote for him.  No use whatsoever.

Well, my preference would be to leave the office vacant for four years and to wait for better things than 2016. Unfortunately that's not one of the options that we have. I think it's going to be dangerous and not merely bad if either of them becomes president. The question is, where's the danger greatest and, more importantly, most long-lasting? And I think that even though Donald Trump has no coherent vision that looks that promising, Hillary Clinton does have a vision, and it's a world in which she can, by determining who's on the next Supreme Court--for the next 50 years law in America can be undermined. The First and Second Amendments we can write off if she's allowed to put a majority on that court. And so long after, whether it's Clinton or Trump, long after they leave office, the people they put on the Supreme Court will be a legacy for the next generation and perhaps put an end to constitutional law in this country. And on that basis, I would vote against Hillary Clinton.
