Mexican drug lord El Chapo was not the only one to threaten Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Presidential candidates are no strangers to violent words and even assassination attempts from heated laymen and the mentally unbalanced. Rarely, however, do celebrities, journalists and fellow politicians — from both sides of the aisle — engage in the type of violent rhetoric that has been spewed against Donald Trump during his campaign.

Sadly, entertainment media has contributed to the problem. For example, in one episode of South Park, a politician closely resembling Donald Trump was raped and murdered by the opposition, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The Huffington Post’s Jesse Benn also explicitly advocated violence against Trump, writing: “Whatever your personal beliefs regarding violent resistance—there’s an inherent value in forestalling Trump’s normalization. Violent resistance accomplishes this.”

To those who eschewed his call to “violent resistance,” Benn urged, “Don’t be that liberal.”

To hear this must be horribly devastating to Nazi Pelosi.  I well remember the huge tears she shed when she became speaker of the politburo because of all the awful rhetoric from conservatives.  Maybe she should go to Harry Reid's shrink to spill the sadness she must feel.

The article has lost its credibility with this.

The episode in question had a Canadian version of Donald Trump being 'effed to death' by an American version of Donald Trump.  Who, I might add, snuck across the Canadian border after the Canadian Trump had a wall built to keep Americans out.
