before he leaves office....as the "polite" thing to do.Just announced by Rush on his show.Yet another good reason to boycott the GOP this election. They are just as treasonous as the Democrats....so what's the diff?
Of course they are. If they lose the Presidency and Senate they might get something worse.
Additionally, now we may have an outsider in the Oval Office, not the same ol' DC career politicians.
I want to hear Rush say this, I find this hard to believe. Additionally, now we may have an outsider in the Oval Office, not the same ol' DC career politicians.
Did anybody else listen to Rush today? Anybody? I would love some confirmation of what my own ears heard....lol.
Democrats and allied liberal groups have pressed Senate Republicans to confirm Garland while Obama is still in office, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) ruled out the possibility last week.He said the next president will have to make a new nomination.“We’ve already made it very clear that a nomination for the Supreme Court by this president will not be filled this year,” he said at a press conference Tuesday.
I heard it too...have been looking for confirmation on this and can't find it....I did find thishttp://thehill.com/homenews/senate/296456-supreme-court-fight-colors-battle-for-the-senateSupreme Court fight colors battle for the Senateexcerpt:
I think this is what Rush was referring to...this isn't a SCOTUS appointmenthttp://dailysignal.com/2016/09/19/7-weeks-before-election-republicans-help-advance-another-obama-judicial-nominee/7 Weeks Before Election, Republicans Help Advance Another Obama Judicial Nominee
Republicans could be sending the nomination out of committee halfheartedly, in an effort to appease the left while running out the clock before the Nov. 8 elections.
I think its more likely that they have good reason to believe that Hilliary will win and the Senate will change hands, and these are the best nominees they will see for a long time..
