Cruz internet, other policy fights hold up government-funding deal

The Senate has delayed an initial vote on a government-funding bill, in part because of demands from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) to add language preventing the Obama administration from relinquishing a U.S. role in overseeing the internet.

I won't be here after the election and vote.

If Hillary wins - I will be busy, BLOAT! (It won't be long before she won't let you buy.)

If Trump wins, I won't be here to GLOAT. (I don't want to hang around while everyone looks at every speck in his eye.)

Works for me.  At this point, I think all federal-government-funding bills should be held up.  Shutting down the federal government is one of the only courses of action left to us to regain our rapidly vanishing freedom.
My political philosophy:

1) I'm not bothering anybody.
2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!

Gonna be kind of interesting to see where the nominees go with this one but so far neither seem interested in talking about it.

Write and call your congress critters.  This is a fight that needs to be won.  Think about what you are doing right now.  Reading and posting on a forum on the internet.  It is important that we retain this liberty, this additional place to express ourselves and to find information.

Yeah, even more so than this time last year since a good chunk of those formerly calling themselves conservative seem to be down with Big Government now.
