Trump slams 'wacky' Maureen Dowd, CNN panel 'losers'

Donald Trump turned his attention back to cable network guests in a Saturday tweetstorm, slamming New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd as a "neurotic dope" and a CNN panel as "losers."

The GOP presidential nominee, who has spoken to the Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist several times throughout the election cycle, tweeted that Dowd "makes up things that I never said for her boring interviews and columns."

Trump's tweets come after Dowd was interviewed on CNN by Michael Smerconish on her new book "The Year of Voting Dangerously," a collection of her columns on Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump released this week.

How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.

This is the second time time today that I have agreed with the Donald.  Just because I dislike tRump doesn't mean I'm going to disagree with him when I don't.  That would be stupid.

Ya know it's funny when trump does this but at the same time his twitt r antics make me Leary of supporting him. He needs to stay focused and discipline lined from now to Election Day.

Trump thinks he is being funny. The guy just doesn't have the flair for one liners so he comes off as boorish.

Yep.  Maureen Dowd is a has been.  I don't know if she's a dope or wacky.

I do know that she was relatively mild in her criticism of Trump in that interview which shows that the really neurotic one cannot stand even the slightest criticism.

He is a clear and present danger.

He IS focused on what is important to him,which is his persona. He NEVER lets a personal criticism of himself pass without a counter-attack on the 3rd grade level. Compared to his persona,his alleged campaign is nothing. It's just something he is doing to further inflate his ego and to make some more money from insider deals.

As soon as you realize that NOTHING is as important to him as "The Donald" is,it all makes perfect sense.  He makes the typical Hollywood actor/actress seem to be modest AND smart by comparison.
