I would have excerpted this article but I couldn’t break it up.  Good article that should make people question what it is we are voting for if we choose to vote for Trump.  The article makes mention of how people say oh, but Hillary is worse.  I was thinking it would be better for Hillary to win than to join the left.  Just a few short months ago none of us would have  ever considered  new welfare programs.  It isn’t Conservative.  Isn’t even Republican.  It straps massive debt onto the backs of our youth.  If we give in to the New York Liberal we are all now Liberal Progressive Socialists.  The way I look at it is you are what you vote for.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

And if elected we could say that the Republican party no longer exists.  People put such emphasis on this election meaning so much.  What it means to me is a new liberal party on steroids.

Now that Hitlary is on her death bed, Donny sees room to move back to his natural home and be the leader for Progressives. If he wins, he will wait two week and then switch his party affiliation back to Rat. Bank on it.

He is actually further left than both Obama and Clinton.  He is reaching for the Bernie Sanders voters.

Melania Democrat too.  Taking the words right out of Michelle Obamas mouth.

""But Hillary is worse…!”

Yes, I know. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t engage in some cognitive dissonance. There’s one thing to vote for Trump in a binary choice, as CR’s Mark Levin has suggested. There is quite another to begin championing his liberal policies like so many of his supporters are doing. The same way conservatives should have never acceded to McCain’s immigration plan just because he was that party’s nominee or Bush’s federalization of education, so too  must refuse to acquiesce to Trump’s Bernie Sanders-style fiscal policies.

Here is a good rule of thumb: don’t champion any policy you would have vigorously opposed and ridiculed 12 months ago.

Conservatives do themselves no favors by selling out their views and cheering Trump’s liberal policies, while assuming that some of the conservative advisors around him will clean up the mess. That will destroy any leverage we have to talk him off the ledge.

There is nobody closer to Trump than his daughter. If you think some of the conservative advisors have more clout than Ivanka, you are not paying attention. She is to The Donald what Huma is to Hillary. If he was willing to adopt this plan at her behest, there is a lot more where that came from. And it’s as old and stale as Bernie Sanders."

Goes back even further than old-school socialism.  This is old-school pandering to the mob, a la the Roman Empire, where the votes of the mob were bought with promises of panem et circenses - bread (free food) and circuses (free entertainment; namely, slaves being killed by each other and by wild animals).

I'm beginning to believe that Donny might have been the lefts choice all along.  Take out the GOP and insert a bona fide liberal democrat all in one fell swoop.

He very well could win and be the next 0bama.  I'm sure his cabinet would be chock full o' democrats.

USSC???  fuggedaboutit....

Bingo!  A lot of us in this forum have felt that for quite awhile.  Trump was nothing more than a siphon for the DEMS.  His goal is to mantle the conservative movement and further split the Republican Party.  The GOP died when they handed Trump the presidential nomination. The 'corruption'  and deals that took place during the convention was planned long ago ... Preibus included!  This is why many of us feel that there is no difference in voting for Trump or Clinton and absolutely REFUSE to vote for either!!
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I don't know why we would be surprised - he's been signalling his Bernie affection for months.

From the article:

"If you think Trump has any plans to get rid of Obamacare rather than augment it, I have an immigration plan to sell you in Mexico. Maybe he’ll get rid of the waste!"
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Rush is all on top of this, the government spends money on refugees and all kinds of rabbitholes; but gives nothing to people raising their families, the government harms the common people.

The current administration has a war on all Americans on top of that.

So rather than reverse a bad trend, Trump piles onto it.

You would be amazed.....at how many formerly so-called conservatives...are now planning to vote for Trump and his liberal big-government policies.  People that I previously thought of as at least fairly bright....are plunging down the leftist rabbithole as fast as they can .....without even realizing what they're supporting now.  I'll say it again.  It's a pandemic of stupidity.
No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

You can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out of it.

Wow.  So, Rush agrees with Trump that it is a loving, family-oriented thing to saddle our children and grandchildren with even more debt and fewer personal responsibilities.  That is shocking.

We nominated Michael Bloomberg masquerading as Pat Buchanan.

What could've been.
