Members of Clinton's staff have battled pneumonia bug

By Mark Hensch

Members of Hillary Clinton's staff had pneumonia before the candidate came down with it, according to a report.

At least half a dozen senior staff in Clinton's Brooklyn headquarters battled the illness before the Democratic presidential nominee was diagnosed with the virus on Sunday, People reported Monday.

“Everyone’s been sick,” a campaign source told the publication.

The source said pneumonia cases began popping up among Clinton's staff in late August, two weeks before the former first lady’s diagnosis.Among those affected were campaign aides who travel closely with Clinton.

Campaign manager Robby Mook was among those who were under the weather. Two of Clinton’s top advisers received emergency medical treatment during their illness.

One top adviser was receiving antibiotics for a respiratory infection days before Clinton’s own diagnosis for pneumonia.

Another key staffer was taken by ambulance to the ER, People’s source added, after collapsing from what was discovered as severe dehydration.

Videos emerged Sunday showing Clinton stumbling as she was helped into a black van during a 9/11 memorial ceremony.

Clinton’s doctor said later that evening that the former secretary of State had been diagnosed with pneumonia last Friday.

Dr. Lisa R. Bardack added Clinton is “re-hydrated and recovering nicely” after feeling overheated due to dehydration before the incident.

“She is fine now,” a source who was with Clinton Sunday told People. "She had been standing for a while in the heat.

“After she cooled off at Chelsea’s, she made a point to take a walk outside Chelsea’s apartment building to prove she was OK,” the source added.

Donald Trump, the GOP’s presidential nominee, has repeatedly suggested Clinton lacks the physical health and stamina for the presidency.

Trump on Monday said “something’s going on” with Clinton’s health, adding he hopes for her quick recovery.

Clinton’s campaign said late Sunday it would cancel her trip to California starting Monday for fundraisers and an appearance on the talk show “Ellen."

It looked like a neurological event - that is why she was oh so much better and "feeling great" an hour or so later. The whole narrative, holding back the press from following her when she left the event, it all stinks.

They just keep flinging ideas and then polling them to see if they work.
This one will not.

I thought she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday?

I'm not a doctor, but this lends itself to saying this type of pneumonia is contagious.

If Hillary was diagnosed on Friday, WTF was she doing in public two days later?

I call BS on this one. She’s got some serious health issues and it’s not pneumonia.

Agree.  Hillary could not stand which is why she was propped up.  When the car arrived she did not pass out, she did not faint, she did not lose consciousness---she could not walk.  And because her security team is so well-trained in hiding her, mobility must be a frequent challenge.

Having said that ... get well, Hill.  See you at the debate.   ^-^

So typical of Hillary and her ilk.   No concern whatsoever about others ....just whatever floats their boat at any given time is what they're about.  And if this story is correct, they knew damned well that it was contagious.

Yeah, I noticed that.  Both the camera angles I saw, a SS agent stepped directly into the line of sight of the camera.
