Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson expressed to hundreds gathered for the annual Values Voter Summit Friday his passionate distaste for secular humanism and his enthusiastic support for Donald Trump for president.

In remarks preceding the showing of a documentary titled "Torchbearer," a film in which Robertson is prominently featured and outlines how societies fall apart when they reject God, the 70-year-old A&E star did not mince words.

 "When you allow men to determine for you what is right and what is wrong, when you allow men to determine what is good and what is evil, when you allow men to determine for you how much your life is worth, how much anybody's life is worth, you turn those things over to humans instead of vetting through this Bible," Robertson said, holding up a large, open Bible for all to see, at the Family Research Council's annual event held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

"It never turns out well, ever!" he proclaimed.

Maybe it is a true conversion and not just playing to the audience, if so good for him.
I just find it funny that he started out this primary claiming he has been a Christian all his life, the best Christian.. then Paula Davis and others come out and say he was a recent conversion, and now he is going to be baptized like a new convert.

But that doesn't mean he'll be a good Commander in Chief of the United States Armed Forces to the young men and women pledging their lives to this country.

The sacrament of baptism is a symbol of washing away the old. If it is done in front of people, it is not done as a stunt to drive people crazy, but to draw people to Christ's redemption (not draw people to a politician)

Nah... There's hours of his preaching on Youtube. I have listened to quite a bit of it. Not TV fodder, which is of a nature much like Dukes - Rednecks laughing at rednecks - This is actual preaching.

What a disappointment.
