Everyone is really sorry for the unexpected downtime of the forum. There were some serious problems with the way the ISP has things set up and, in the course of trying to get them to fix those problems, the DNS records for the forum were deleted and had to be recreated. Unfortunately, those records have to be propagated to all the other DNS servers around the world before anyone's browser can actually find the forum. That took several hours, but the records appear to have propagated by now.
And yes, the owners are considering other server/hosting services.
