Clown Invasion Spreads as Denver Broncos Player Protests National Anthem

Much has been made of a recent uptick in malevolent clowns engaging in mischief and that description is thoroughly fitting in professional sports. With the radical left seeming to have found their own version of Jesus in San Francisco 49ers bench warmer Colin Kaepernick, his disciples starting to pop up on rosters throughout the league. So it was that during Thursday night’s nationally televised season opener, a Super Bowl rematch between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers, that another one of Kap’s clowns put himself above the team in order to make a point.

Hopefully that dialogue will begin and end with the words: "You're fired."

This is like the final straw with the NFL;

Enough of all of  the things they've stood for, often getting taxpayer dollars to build stadiums though their old stadiums are not that bad, concussions, criminal records and so on.

I use to love it but I already took a time out from it a few years ago.

As I heard the talking heads say the other day, when this tears into revenues, then the NFL will do something about it.

NBA players do indeed, have to follow an NBA rule, to stand and act respectfully during the national anthem.

Playing the national anthem before sports events is not done in all countries I understand. We do it.  Obviously, Canada does it at NBA, NHL and MLB games.
