I find this sad. He supported Trump so the Liberal Media had to dig up the dirt and humiliate him. How dare a black Pastor support a Republican, much less the evil Trump. Granted, there was a skeleton there, but was this public humiliation really necessary?
I know. I know. It shows that Trump didn't vet him and plays to his decision-making skills or lack thereof, but the man is a Pastor that introduces Trump, not his foreign policy expert.
I suspect this may backfire on CNN. I doubt I am the only human on earth that is saddened by this.
It is sad, but first off, most conservatives have little sympathy for someone who inflates their level of military service. If those credentials were misstated by someone else, then that may be forgivable, but if the person inflated their service record to appear they had done more or different, it's on them.
Second, I have a Bachelor of Science degree. I started to work on a Master's Degree but never completed that, for a number of reasons which happened to hit at once. I don't claim a MS, because I never earned it, only the BS degree.
We have little patience with stolen valor, and we should have none with 'stolen' academic credentials, either. If he had been a liberal and a Hillary staffer and a white guy, he would have been fair game for the conservative media had he (or someone on the staff) made claims of service or credentials beyond what he actually had as well.
