These combat readiness exercises are being conducted between August 25th and August 31st and include such items as reserve call-up and the functioning of civilian authorities on war footing.

Civilian reserves will be called up as part of the drill and briefed on a new system of reserve call-up to be implemented immediately after the end of the review process.

No, Poland is not about to be shanked, they have defeated Russia before and Russia and Germany are not about to team up as they did in World War II to invade Poland. That is nonsense. Poland fought two different enemies in that war, USSR and Germany. That's a bit insulting.

In fact, since Russia supplies so many fighters to ISIS; Russia may be worried about a home-country assault if anything.  Not exactly the most unbiased source we were provided.

oh c'mon, Poland has always been the speed bump on the way to bigger and better things... I have great respect for the Polish people, but for no fault of their own, they are always in the middle geographically.
