There Is No Fix

With Aetna’s announcement that it is pulling out of most government-run exchanges, Obamacare's death spiral has begun to accelerate. Few but the sickest or most heavily subsidized people want anything to do with the (inaptly named) Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act's high-priced, high-deductible, narrow-network plans. Insurers are responding to sicker risk pools and bigger losses by raising rates, which makes the plans even less attractive to the young and healthy—which makes the risk pools sicker, which makes the rates rise further. And the spiral continues, like water circling the drain.

No less of an Obamacare cheerleader than the New York Times's Paul Krugman admits this is "genuine bad news" that shows "some real problems are cropping up."...

...The American people are clearly on conservatives' side on this issue. Liberals, meanwhile, are looking in vain for a political escape-hatch. After Aetna's announcement, Neera Tanden, longtime Hillary Clinton adviser and president of the Center for American Progress (which works hand-in-glove with the Obama administration), said that Clinton "was hoping we had just moved beyond a fight on" Obamacare. That was pure fantasy. With rates escalating and options shrinking, the truth is that—six years after Obama signed his namesake into law—the Obamacare fight is nowhere near over. If anything, it is intensifying.

What they're looking for is socialized medicine and a utopian fantasy that doesn't exist.

The problem is the Rats were very clever in only rolling out obamacare on the 15% of the population that buys individual health insurance. Nobody cares how it affects this group as long as they get the plan they want through work and only have to pay a portion of the cost. The Pubs don't care since they exempted themselves from this mess.

What's probably going to happen is all those affected by the individual mandate will be rolled into medicaid and the quality of care will continue to decline, but the insurance companies will make lots of money because they won't have to insure these high risk pools.

I'm one of those poor 15%ers. Fortunately I was able to sign up with a Christian Healthcare Co-op (Medi-Share) but a lot of people aren't aware of this option or aren't Christians.

What is Trump's solution?  Universal healthcare.  Single payer.

Problem solved.

ObamaCare was never meant to work, it's goal was to break the system, so that Single-Payer could come in and "save the day."

Of course Chief Judas Roberts, couldn't figure that out.

And these Blowhard-Pinhead (i.e. Cloward-Piven) types know full well that single payer would mean trillions more in deficits that would bring it all down even faster than is happening already. That's why they really want it, as the straw that will finally break the camel.
The Republic is lost.

It does exist though, it exists for every illegal that sneaks or more correctly is invited across our border by Lord Foul that are given free medical care, housing and food while American citizens struggle to survive.

It's coming. You already hear Rats saying we need to fix obamacare by expanding Medicare. The ins. co.'s will go along with it because they'll be given supplemental plans to sell and prescp. drug plans to sell. The Pubs talk a lot, but they really don't care.

Cost over runs will be dealt with through rationing of services.
