No really a Claude Rains moment, is it?

After all, in 2012, he said Romney's self deportation was Cruel.
Only 4 years ago.
In 2013, he told dreamers "You've convinced me".
Only 3 years ago.
Why anyone believed he'd stick to his deportation force claim in November is beyond me.
The evidence that he didn't believe it himself has been there from day one.
