Kaine: Clinton apologizes for mistakes, unlike Trump

By Harper Neidig

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) says his running mate Hillary Clinton is willing to admit and learn from her mistakes unlike opponent Donald Trump.

During an interview with NBC’s “Today” on Wednesday, Kaine was asked about statements Clinton made that critics say mischaracterized FBI Director James Comey's conclusions about the probe into her email server.

“Here’s what I’ve heard her say,” Kaine said. “I’ve heard her say, ‘I’ve made a mistake and I’ve learned something from it and I wouldn’t do it again and I apologized.’"

Kaine said GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump doesn't have those traits.

“When has Donald Trump, during the course this campaign or of his life, said ‘I made a mistake and I’m better and I’m gonna learn from it and grow from it?’ ”

Clinton sparked controversy earlier this month when she said the FBI concluded she had been truthful about her use of a private email server while secretary of State.

Comey has said Clinton was truthful with the agency when they interviewed her about the matter, but has refused to say if he believes she ever misled the public.

Clinton later said she "short-circuited" in her remarks and only meant to say that the FBI called her interview truthful.

Kaine's remarks also come as Republicans push the Justice Department to look into whether Clinton ever committed perjury before Congress.

Well he is her VP pickup after all.

I really want the views of Ambassadors Steven's family on this matter.
“The way I see it, every time a man gets up in the morning he starts his life over. Sure, the bills are there to pay, and the job is there to do, but you don't have to stay in a pattern. You can always start over, saddle a fresh horse and take another trail.” ― Louis L'Amour

This is only true if you ignore the facts that HRC is calling deliberate criminal and probably treasonous activity a "mistake".

When did Hillary ever apologize?

"What difference, at this point, does it make?"

And that is good enough, for the #nevertrump brigades, where ever they be.
