Donald Trump is shaking up his senior campaign staff yet again in the wake of several weeks of sinking poll numbers and critical press coverage of his gaffes from the trail.Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon will “temporarily step down from his role with Breitbart News” to join the team as the campaign CEO, while Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway will be promoted to campaign manager.http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-hires-breitbart-chief-campaign-shakeup
Sorry Paul, you aren't a wartime consigliore after all...
Does this mean that the Trump Family is "going to the mattresses"?
Robert CostaVerified account@costareportsBannon has convinced Trump that rest of campaign needs to be bare-knuckles brawl, w/ full-bore populism/movement politicsSo more of what hasn't worked.
They are just doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.
Thereby making the obvious painfully obvious: Breitbart stopped being an independent source of news and commentary during the primary and became nothing more than an agit-prop mouthpiece for Trump. The epithet "Trumpbart" is more fitting than ever.
Isn't that, according to some folks, the definition of stupidity?
The Post reported that Bannon, whose site has been a prominent booster of the Trump campaign, has been privately advising the real estate mogul for months, urging him to run as an “outsider” and “unabashed nationalist.”
This is Stephen Bannon TODAY
After his military service, Bannon worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department.
The problem with "populism" is what it has always been, everywhere in the free world: it is never all that popular.
@AbaraXasI read that article this morning on a news website and thought, "There goes Manafort and crazy Trump returns to his normal crazy self." It is apparent he doesn't like reading from a teleprompter and presenting a sane person to the public. It appears he is returning to his normal self as he says something like, "You have to be you." Likely his next speech will be off the cuff and irrational.
