interesting there is a lot of Trump/Soros buzz coming out today, right after Soros OSF emails were hacked.. I wonder if they are setting the stage for a big revelation?

The Daily Beast had an interesting flashback Tuesday to the time Donald Trump interrupted his speech at a Tea Party rally to suddenly defend liberal billionaire George Soros.

The Beast notes that even after his sudden road-to-Damascus conversion to conservatism, Trump has been notably silent about attacking Soros, the bankroller of a vast network of liberal advocacy groups and a favorite target of conservative firebrands. They note that Soros and Trump were once on good enough terms that Soros lent Trump $160 million in 2004 to help fund his Chicago Trump Tower.

As late as 2011, when Trump was building his conservative bonafides by doing a Tea Party circuit, he defended Soros during a rally:
