1. I just pointed out a bit of irony in the first two sentences for your personal edification.
2. A majority of 'valued long-time' members have not left. A couple have that I'm aware, from their own free will, but that's natural for any forum. Some people want debate and discussion, some people just want 'ra ra' and reinforcement of what they believe. You can't please everyone. For everyone one that has left this year, we gained 200-300.

    Unfortunately, it now seems that the Trump mindset is fully entrenched; even with the obvious writing on the wall that Trump is nothing more than a siphon for the DEMS, a liberal fraud and a buffoon, with proof provided by numerous links.  With the sand fully encapsulating their heads, I doubt they could even follow a trail of bread crumbs.  I guess  NYers tend to stick together regardless of what the cost.

The reason most of us left TOS is because that was the type of ultra-biased cesspool that it had become.  They (Trump supporters) apparently wouldn't mind having the same scenario here.

That seems to be their M.O., as we both know from yet another site.  Shout down and attack and ridicule anyone who does anything less than WORSHIP the Orange Julius Caesar - and then DEMAND that anyone who's identified as a Republican or conservative to vote for them.

What it is, is a page straight out of the Ron Paul kook camp.  Writ large, sadly.  This is how the Paulbots campaigned the last, what, eight election cycles, when PaulGod was up there, on one party dais or another...glassy-eyed, mumbling, while his kook followers and worshippers were screaming and demanding.  Truthfully, I heard this EXACT same thing four years ago - Only RON PAUL can save us, it's your DUTY to vote for him...never mind the dazed old man there with the Ron Paul nametag.  ONLY RON PAUL.  YOU MUST VOTE FOR HIM.  IF WE ALL VOTE FOR HIM HE'LL WIN.

Only problem was, the candidate himself - who gave no reason for voting for him and many reasons to question his sanity.

So it appears here, too.  The candidate's JOB is to PRESENT the case for supporting him and his programs.  Trump HAS no programs and he has made no serious case for supporting him.

FAIL.  You can't polish a turd.  Gaming the primaries with a stalking-horse is one thing; but he hadn't worked up a similar game for the general and it's too late now.  All he can do is win legitimately, and he has no idea how.

But that doesn't stop the worshippers from attacking any doubters.

Is it against the rules to show the blatant similarities between Trump's positions and those of Nazi Germany?  There are quite a lot, you know.  If you want to have the right to speak what you think is the truth, you give permission to everyone to do the same.

And *THAT* is the heart of why so many are so disgusted with your postings.  You seek special favors to your faction and restrictions to those you dislike.
