The problem is you are attributing motives based on your bias to other members. It is one thing to discuss if a candidate helps or hurts another candidate as they are public figures and as they are running for office, their statements/positions and the impacts of such are not only fair game, it is vital they be analyzed.

Attributing your own beliefs about what another member wants, however, is what we are talking about. I can't say RIV wants Hillary to win by doing or saying X... because that is assuming what you believe. You can however, say, 'Gary Johnson is helping Hillary win by siphoning off votes' because Johnson is a candidate who is fair game.

Easy way, if the statement can be said as: You are... then you are making it personal with another member (yes, I see the irony in that sentence) and that's what the owners here have discouraged. If the statement can be made 'the candidate is....' that is totally fair game and right to go after and discuss.  Not only that, but it is a far more intelligent form of discourse.

Several have said openly that TOS is a better, kinder place than TBR.  I'm absolutely sure they like it better there, and would like us to become a Trump haven.

I just wonder, since one already exists, why they don't leave TBR entirely.    They're madder than hades and don't like it here, so what's keeping them from moving on??

(I know I'm not supposed to encourage people to leave this incredible place, but if you hate it here, why stay?  That's why I left TOS 4 years ago.  I couldn't stand what it was becoming.  I didn't stick around and complain how 'unfair' it was.  I left).

No one has their 'cookie reset' for kicks by mods so that person constantly has to re-log in and change their password (not even an available function here that I'm aware of).

There are no 'moderation logs' on member profiles where the mods here can leave snarky notes to each other about members including digging dirt on member's real personas and storing it for 'safe keeping' to use against them like at TOS.

No one here is judged how they are treated based on if they are a donor nor are they guilt tripped for not donating by calling them 'freeloaders' or worse.

I've only known of two people banned here this year, one was for threatening someone in real life (threatening their personal business via Linked In digging), the other for playing around with multiple accounts and trolling members with them.

If anyone leaves, it is on their own, by their own choice.

I know a couple of people have told the owners they 'better do something about this site' because many express opinions that are contrary to their own, but the owners realize everyone here are adults and can act like it.

This site treats everyone like adults, not like TOS that treats everyone like children who have to be molded and punished into behaving according to their standards.
