Priebus on Trump: 'Don't believe the garbage you read'

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus pushed back on reports of trouble with Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

“Don’t believe the garbage you read,” Priebus said Friday during a Trump rally in Erie, Pennsylvania. “Let me tell you something: Donald Trump, the Republican Party, all of you, we’re gonna put him in the White House and save this country together.”

Priebus' introduction of Trump came after Republican Party officials met with the Trump campaign Friday morning in Orlando.

Actually, as low as the media polls for trustworthiness this could be a very effective way to get Trump off of the hook for the dumb things he constantly says. Don't even bother defending, just chuckle, shake your head and say 'there they go again'.

What else can the GOpe do?

Besides the ol' red herring has worked for the left for decades.

How about if I just believe what Trump says? Listening to Trump is like having Alzheimer's, every day is like a new yesterday because what he says today is not what he meant tomorrow and what he says tomorrow is not what he meant yesterday, unless it resonates with his supporters until the press doesn't like it and then.......... :huh?:

Today, he says if Clinton wins Penn., she cheated.  That means every state he loses it's because she cheated.  "She" is not in charge of voting in any state.

Also, now he says American citizens suspected to be or help a terrorist, can be taken to Guantanamo and judged by the military.  Forget the constitution and citizen rights.  Do remember if you say something he doesn't like, he can say he suspects you to be or help a terrorist and off to Guantanamo you go - it will be full of the media he hates, so get there early for a good cell.
