Trump golf club renovation hit with 23rd lien, this time for $236K

Quote
A 23rd lien was just filed against the Donald Trump-run company that owns Trump National Doral Miami golf club.

This lien, which opens the way for a forced sale of Doral unless it’s paid off, was filed Aug. 9 by Straticon LLC, the Martin County-based construction firm in charge of part of the $255 million renovation of the famed country club.

According to the paperwork, Starticon says it’s still owed $236,472 for its work on the three-year project, which ended in June.

Straticon President Michael Jackson didn’t return a call for comment.

But the lien comes in the wake of filings by 22 other contractors or subcontractors claiming that the Republican presidential nominee’s Trump Endeavor 12 LLC, the golf club’s owner, failed to pay their contracts in full.

Right.  He'll make a great president because he is such a great businessman.  I've been seeing article that running for president has had a negative impact on his businesses.

What again was the great skill set that qualified Trump for the Presidency?  Oh, right... his BUSINESS acumen.

I'm no Rhodes Scholar Einstein....but people with good or "great" business acumen don't generally have that many bankruptcies against their credit record.  Yet another epic failure of The Don's which has been splained by his ever-loyal supporters as another "smart" business move.

No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

You can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out of it.

He never pays in full, he explains this in one of his books.

The Art of the Deal is to rip off Americans.  Hey here's your candidate.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

What we have here is a liar and a crook. This makes me wonder just how many of his business acumen and morals have rubbed off on his kids that are made out to be wonderful human beings.

Is the whole damn family made up of scum bags like him? This country is swirling around the toilet bowl.

What's wrong with being lien?  I want my government to be lien and efficient.  CUT OUT THE FAT!  BE LIEN!

He would be horrible to do business with.  His debt load has increased greatly over the past year:
Quote
All the other discussions of Trump's finances aside, his debt load has grown dramatically over the last year, from $350 million to $630 million. This is in just one year while his liquid assets have also decreased. Trump has been blackballed by all major US banks.

I wouldn't be surprised if his "empire" is on the verge of crashing.  Perhaps he wants a nice Whitehouse gig so that he can live large on the backs of taxpayers.  Then, when that's over, he follows in the footsteps of the Clintons who were broke when they left the Whitehouse, and now live like rock stars off of their foundation and speaking fees.
