Trump Calls Obama 'Founder of ISIS'

Donald Trump accused President Barack Obama on Wednesday of establishing the Islamic State group that is wreaking havoc from the Middle East to European cities.

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Donald Trump is now accusing President Barack Obama of founding the Islamic State group that is wreaking havoc from the Middle East to European cities.

"In many respects, you know, they honor President Obama," Trump said Wednesday during a raucous campaign rally outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "He is the founder of ISIS."

He repeated the allegation three more times for emphasis.

Trump also pointedly referred to the president by his full legal name: Barack Hussein Obama.

The Republican presidential nominee in the past has accused his opponent, Democrat Hillary Clinton, of founding the militant group. As he shifted the blame to Obama on Wednesday, he said "crooked Hillary Clinton" was actually the group's co-founder.

He was also holding up a number of charts and signs, I don't know if any of the signs said this.



I'd go as far as to say there was largely no ISIS previous to the Obama administration, "founder" is rhetoric or hyperbole imo.  A lot of people think this though.

He helped arm them, he helped to fund them, he supported the people that organized them, he has avoided fighting them, he has ignored their atrocities, he thinks they just need a job, he doesn't think they are bad people, he believes Christian Americans are the real problem.

Under Obama and the withdrawal from Iraq, a vacuum was left and ISIS was able to seize it.

Also, encouraging the "Arab Spring" was stupid too.

So,  though I wouldn't go that far,  it's close to the truth.

Of course, there are other reasons for ISIS.

Main reason to vote for Trump, fight terrorism. So, those who speak so haughty and against Trump, should we suffer from this in the future as a nation as obviously, the people of Iraq and Syria have, I'll know I didn't make that decision not to vote for Trump. I won't be responsible.

All I have is close to what an editorial cartoon is.  It's satire, it's been a part of the American system.

For those who denigrate Trump, it's almost a career and place Cruz on a pedestal.

Cruz does not represent all Conservatives.  He has barely passed any bill; one that got bipartisan support. 

I supported Cruz but I don't place him on a pedestal.

Again, for Conservatives, I will look to Walker and Perry and perhaps to Cruz too; I voted for him daily at the TOS. But I also know, listening to Cruz is much like listening to Levin or Limbaugh. It's not that new what he's doing and pretty green on experience.

And guess what else he said?  He made this, yet another, flippant comment regarding the possibility (probability) that he would lose the election.  And this .....IMO.....epitomizes his entire "I really don't care if I lose to Hillary cuz she's really my best friend" campaign.  Trump knows he'll have a quid pro quo thing going on when Hillary wins....and his long vacation will be well-padded with "thank yous".

Xena Lee; I'm on record for voting for Cruz in the primary and most every day at the daily poll at the other website.

If you don't like Democracy, maybe you should move to North Korea, someone won the primaries, it's as simple as that, I supported Romney in 2012 in the general election all the same though I did not vote for him in the primary. Ted Cruz endorsed Romney.

Really shows people why we get such bad leaders, when one is attacked for being loyal.

Trump may lose but there is little doubt, Cruz probably would lose to Clinton as well. Rubio probably did stand a good chance to defeat Clinton, better than the others and then Kasich.
