Poll: Clinton leads by 13 points among likely voters

The poll result’s significance lies both in his magnitude of Clinton’s lead but also the timing.

Hillary Clinton’s post-convention bounce has been amplified through the weekend, giving the Democratic presidential nominee a double-digit lead among likely voters, according to a new poll released Monday.

The Monmouth University survey shows Clinton leading the flagging GOP nominee Donald Trump, 50 percent to 37 percent, among likely voters. Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson is at 7 percent, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is at 2 percent. Only 3 percent of likely voters are undecided.

In a poll conducted immediately before the two national party conventions last month, Clinton only had only a 2-point lead among likely voters, 45 percent to 43 percent.

I seem to recall being told by Trumpsters that we're supposed to pay attention to Likely Voters, instead of Registered Voters.

Looks like the "inevitability" narrative for Hillary is getting locked down... for keeps, this time.

Yup.  Hillary's not scheduled to hold another rally or town hall straight through the debates.

We're watching an election being stolen in slow motion.

The good news is:  No one gives a damn.

The interesting part of the crosstabs is Trump is only leading by five points in states where Romney won by at least 12%.  That would include Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, all of the plains states, Louisiana, Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Tennessee and Alabama.  Don't be surprised if he loses several of those states.

Notice how she is playing it safe. No talk of national healthcare, social security, women's right to choose, and other devicive third rail topics. Just ride the middle lane and let Trump make the mistakes. The way Bill did.

New independent conservative candidate as of today is Evan McMullin from UTAH.  I expect he will take that state.
