Nash County, North Carolina, has an estimated population of 93,919, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. With 84 percent of county residents holding a high school degree or higher, Nash County is hand-in-hand with the most recent state average of 85 percent.
The county has a median household income of $43, 341, not far from the statewide number of approximately $46,000.
And, while the county has a non-English speaking population of 7 percent, less than the state’s 11 percent of non-English speakers, all of the Nash County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) “Most Wanted” are illegal aliens.
The county is relatively safe, and while the NCSO only lists three suspects on the list, they are all foreign nationals, of Latino origin.
