Schlafly explained that Ryan has repeatedly demonstrated that he is “not really for America” and is “not for American citizens.”

“Get rid of him! We don’t want anybody who believes in open borders,” Schlafly told Breitbart. “Obviously Paul Ryan is not an ‘America first’ guy.”

Schlafly further explained that if Speaker Ryan cannot get in line with the majority of the American electorate on immigration, he “should resign”.

We should not “accept him as Speaker,” Schlafly added—noting that, given Ryan’s constant efforts to undermine his Party’s nominee, “it doesn’t sound like he is loyal to the Republican Party.”

Phyllis Schlafly used to be a rational voice.  She's increasingly become a strident loon over the past several years, though.  Sort of like Paul Craig Roberts, and a few others.

Schlafly, if she knew anything about Ryan, would know full well the truth: whenever Ryan actually does push for something, it's only momentary, and he wilts in the face of any sort of opposition. That's exactly how he ended up as speaker.

Phoolish Schlafly is a vengeful idiot.  Trump has played her for a fool and exposed a very dark inner character. 

That said, I'm not saying Ryan is wonderful.  If he can be beaten in the primary on issues and his participation in the corrupt GOPe procedures then fine.   If not then I suggest revenge on behalf of Trump just devours everyone.
