Hungary’s PM Orban: The problem is “not in Mecca, but in Brussels”

Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban unabashedly lashed out at the EU “elite” during a speech, referencing them as “serial failures” and specifically pointing out that Angela Merkel is failing to protect German citizens from jihadist terror. Orban called for a radical overhaul of the EU as it continues to lose its sovereignty.
Unsurprising, the article below (along with others) slammed Orban for his speech as an “astonishingly savage tirade”, with further adjectives including “menacing”, “reproachful” and “stinging”.
