Iran destroys satellite dishes
 
 
Iranian authorities have destroyed at least 100,000 satellite dishes and other types of television receivers. The reason for the initiative is that (Western) satellite transmissions are considered morally harmful.

The massive raid was carried out mainly in Tehran and overseen by General Mohammad Reza, who is leading the country's religious Basij volunteer militia.

Naghdi claimed at an appearance in connection with the dish being destroyed, that the satellite services only lead to an "increased number of divorces, abuse and insecurity in society."

Not really a surprise. Seems they have a Mohammad bin Trump Hussein on their Guardian Council

Considering much of what is currently shoved at us on Western television, I almost think they have a point!
