There is a lot of emotion in that post. Your anger and hate jumps off the page and slaps people who read this.

As for me, I'm drinking some wine, and eating some cheese, and catching some rays, man.

Seriously, and I realize most people will think that I am joking here, but you should some meditation. It is calming and soothing and a really good way to start the day. (this is real advise, I'm not kidding) Just breath, and think good thoughts in a quite place for about 10 minutes or so. It does help.

I must be going now. This communication is becoming a negative experience. I wish each and all of you the very best day today.

LOL!  Ah...yes.  The typical and usual response from a leftie (and or Trump supporter) if or when they've been bested.  Lame, reacharound, passive aggressive and condescending drivel attempting to insult anyone they disagree with.

And since you're so concerned about my well being...here is my prescription for you.  Lay off the wine, follow your own advice about the meds, and buy a clue.  You certainly need it.
No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Briefing Room, I present to you all a textbook example of astroturfing: the creation of fake accounts and messages to give the illusion of grassroots movement.

Spot on. It's all fake like lyin' Don the Democrat.

It shows that Trump's true enemy is Conservatism and not his good friend that he thinks would make a great President, Hillary.

Cruz did not help himself with his on stage tantrum Thursday night. He already had a reputation as being uncooperative and disliked in Congress, but we all thought it was because he was doing the right thing.

It turns out that he is as stubborn and as self-serving as all of his opponents have always said he is.

Either do it my way, or F**k You!, is not a way to win friends and influence people. Even if you may be right, that is still not the correct way to behave. He could have done things a different way and still made his points. As it is, he has placed himself on the outside with very little influence. He is now viewed as an uncompromising bleep even when the issue is bigger than just him, which is what people always said about him anyway.

I always thought he was better than this. I was wrong.

So telling people to vote their conscious amd to support freedom and Liberty equates to a tantrum in yoir mind?

Childish much?

Remember when the GOP was the party of Traditional values, like honor, decency and family?

When they demand that a man throw his family overboard and "honor" a pledge of fealty to an amoral beast of a "man", they have joined the left in the drive toward cultural degeneracy and can go to hell. They're no longer viable partners in our fight for constitutional conservatism.

THIS!

You ask......."How does this post further Trump's campaign against Hillary?  Where does this point out Trump's strengths, his vision for the country, and his record of success?  Which group of undecided voters do you think this will sway?  Which dissatisfied Bernie supporters will join the Trump camp as a result of this post?  How are Hillary's failures and crimes highlighted here?"

I think that there are many Cruz supporters who were "stung" and then some by Cruz's behavior at the Convention.......giving space for this to be aired and spoken of is perfectly suited to the "after glow", so to speak, of the convention. .....it was an historical self destruct ..... But understandable Cruz diehards would be offended ......just as diehard Trump supporters have been with the constant take down and drum beat against Trump.

I was a great supporter for Cruz......but he went too far this time,  he was in an opportune position to bring unity and should have immediately endorsed Trump THEN gone into his platform speech which would have surely been better received.....he blew it entirely. Additionally, and as expected Hilllary's using his comments to further her campaign....Further his reasoning the next day only added to his failure......to say I was disappointed doesn't say enough.... I really cannot support him further....nor will I in the future should he continue to create divisions for his own self gain....I'm not so sure he will recover from this, many think not.  ..I' just not interested in anything more he has to say.......sadly so.

Although I don't share your opinion on Cruz's speech, I realize that I am likely in a minority right now, perhaps not on this site but overall.  However I'll simply point out that your opinion does not answer any of the questions I posed to the original poster, who has established a cottage industry of posting anti-Cruz articles and comments now for about two months after Cruz left the race.

Trump reviewed Cruz's speech and knew there was no endorsement. Cruz made a speech about the Constitution and urged people to vote their conscience for those who support their values. This is going too far? Absolute bunk.

And yet this is essentially the Trump party unity slogan.  Do you think it will be effective?

The difference is Trump IS the Nominee...Cruz the loser.....I suspect Trump will go after Hillary equally as he has done his opponents thus far......Furthermore all I've heard from so many throughout Obama's administration is the Party refused to fight.....well along comes one more than willing to show just that....and they whine about "dirty politics".........you cannot have it both ways in the political climate that there is today.....and no doubt in this Presidential race.

The other difference is Cruz showed himself as above the fray pretty much along the way,  however most following closely cold see he was being affected by media comments as well as Trumps.......he wasn't taking the "heat" well which he clearly warned us all would come....and he couldn't adapt his campaign to the political environment sufficient to garner the support he needed. He knew ahead the media and the GOP would likely oppose him and said as much.....what he failed at was showing the people he had the toughness to win the election.....and to fight back.

Additionally he had distanced so may in Congress who could have backed him ........it is true he's angered many along the way....which did nothing to help him when caught in the fire.

Maybe some of this; but the GOP did need some shaking up.

Heidi Cruz was a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, TC does not like them and I don't care for their to be a united Canada, USA and Mexico. A North American Community.

The GOP with the help of Trump have made a hard left into progressivism and full on alinskyism. The candidate of cultural degeneracy will attract the dregs.

And has, in fact.  Add to that cultural degeneracy a severe lack of civility, despite the very painful fact that Trump and his supporters have to know that they would need every single one of the Cruz supporters' votes, despite what Trump, himself, bleats.  They're either in denial or they're lying about that.  If they're just lying, what's their agenda to do so?  (rhetorical question since I already know the answer)

Trump is a Nationalist not progressive......and of course he's going to move back and forth in the liberal mode to garner voters from Demorats, Bernies people, and Independents.....heck even Cruz was moving in those lanes and not an easy line to walk for the most seasoned politicians without tipping over......And especially Conservatives were critical of Cruz when he did so because they couldn't understand the dynamics of how a politician garners votes.......you have to give them room to do the job of winning voters .....those who don't allow for that will be disappointed no matter what they do.

Did it ever occur to the Trump folks and to Trump himself that....the best way to keep an eye on your opponent or an entity that you don't like and/or don't trust is from a close perspective within that circle?  (Hint:  it's called mole)

As for the BS about Goldman Sachs demonology....hasn't Trump been on the board of directors of that corporation?  And isn't he hiring a GS guy as his Sec of Treasury?  And if so, isn't that the very nth of hypocrisy on his part....not to mention on the part of his supporters?  Why yes.  I think it is.

Ivanka also said something about how her dad hires "only the best" employees.  Well then....why did he essentially fire Corey?  And I don't believe that's the only employee he has fired.  So to be accurate...Ivanka should have said "My dad hires and will hire only the best employees....until he fires them".

This is a good point, if Mitt Romney had been elected, all of this would have been avoided.

Now, we can remember and thank the anti-Romneyites for what they've done.

Party loyalty is also part of the question and yes, at State level, they have done much better.

Good luck to Cruz if being the "lone" fighter is what is going to conquer.

Governor Rick Perry is much more accomplished and is a team player.

Sometimes, you've got to be a team player but have it one's way and always be the renegade. Big donors won't give money, it'll be grassroots but when it comes down to that, what will make Cruz a more attractive choice than Tom Cotton or Marco Rubio or Scott Walker or many others?

One is cooking their own goose.

(There's just no understanding some people. They complain that they could never support a vulgarian candidate like Trump, then they spend the rest of the time being vulgar to supporters of the Republican nominee - some who are long time members of TBR. I don't think that's very nice behavior)

The difference is Trump IS the Nominee

Which precisely makes my point @WAC.  As the leader of the party, Trump has a *higher* obligation to build party unity rather than castigate and attack others within the party, especially if "The Art of the Deal" is supposed to be his core competence.

Cruz spoke at the convention only because he was asked to speak, he spoke not a single unkind word about Trump, he called the party to its one-time principles and encouraged all to support them, he clearly and effectively attacked the Democrats, he endorsed items that Trump has made his own such as "the wall",  and his remarks were known in advance by the Trump campaign and the RNC.  Otherwise Cruz has remained silent since he dropped out.  Trump has responded with lunatic distractions from the actual job he has now been given, distractions which will not move his campaign forward.

Actually, no.  I defended myself ...and with a lot more civility than he used.  Not surprised that 'you' are unable to discern that very glaring difference...lol.

I'm not surprised that some nasty, lying, loser tRumpbots, pretending to be former supporters of Sen. Cruz, would behave like the low IQ children they are.   I have seen this behavior both on the FR and here over the course of this election.  It's one of the major reasons I will never vote for the Donald.  Until now, I would have rated Obama supporters as the worst.  They don't even measure up to the nastiness of tRump supporters.

100%. All they are doing is guaranteeing my non-vote for their carrot colored despot.

Maybe that is their purpose.

Did you see this story @XenaLee ??

Corey Lewandowski with Hope Hicks in an undated photo.

Quote
http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/07/donald-trump-lawsuit-sam-nunberg

Donald Trump is suing a former campaign consultant for $10 million in damages, according to court filings that surfaced online Wednesday, over allegations that the aide broke his nondisclosure agreement by leaking confidential campaign information to the press.

Sam Nunberg, who worked for Trump until he was fired last year, accuses the Republican presidential nominee of retaliating against him “in a misguided attempt to cover up media coverage of an apparent affair” between two other staffers, according to an affidavit first reported by the Associated Press. Nunberg’s filing claims that Trump accused him of tipping off the New York Post about a public screaming match between Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, and his press secretary, Hope Hicks, that reportedly took place in May. In the story, the Post’s Emily Smith cites several sources as saying that the fight was “a campaign-related disagreement” over the announcement that Paul Manafort would be taking over more of Lewandowski’s campaign duties. “Hope was screaming at Corey, ‘I am done with you!’” one witness is quoted as saying. “It was ugly, she was doubled over with her fists clenched. He stood there looking shocked with his hands on his head.”

Nunberg denies being Smith’s source in his affidavit, which also suggests that the public spat was about more than just office politics. “The Trump Campaign is misguidedly and improperly attempting to use the sword of a private arbitration proceeding against me to silence media coverage of a loud and angry argument on a public street between its former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski [and] a female Trump campaign staffer, concerning their sordid and apparently illicit affair,” he says in the court filing. The affidavit refers to the argument as being the same one that was “reported in the New York Post, Page Six, on May 19, 2016.”
