Fine with me Bigun, I'll take it and run with it.
Y'know, if we go back in this forum to about August/September/October 2015 (and most of the readers of this post won't remember because they weren't here), I was saying that if the Republican nominee was ¡Jeb! or lil' Marco that I wouldn't be voting for them in 2016.
And I was roundly criticized for saying as much.
Back then, I said that it made no difference -who- I voted for (in Connecticut) because anyone on the Republican ticket couldn't win here again, ever.
So -- I had the luxury of withholding my vote if I wished, because it would make no difference.
But boy, am I in a pickle now!
o'er-the-hillary is still leading Trump here, but he's almost within striking distance, and the real horse race hasn't even started yet.
And now I'm faced with a decision I never thought I'd have to make again (so long as I remained here) -- could my vote actually end up counting in November?
I can't answer that question yet, but there's one thing I -CAN- say with complete assurance:
If it had been ¡Jeb!, or lil' Marco, or that pissant Kasich, or any other of the Republican candidates, they would have certainly lost here, no question. None of 'em had a chance here.
Except the guy who's running now.
So I may actually vote for him November 8.
I may actually get to make a difference.
But you, Bigun, now have the luxury of staying home.
Has turnabout become fair play?
