Wow, NBC has a spot on their media booth where young Millennial delegates and guests can leave messages about what they think of what is going on and it is exploding with anger at the party. The younger generation of Republicans were just exposed to the ugly side of politics and it turned them off. Here are a sample of some of the messages written on that wall. Trump's walking in on Cruz's speech was a ham handed attempt at intimidation reminiscent of a scene in Godfather II where Frank Pentangeli's brother walks into Senate hearings while Frank was testifying. Trouble is that Cruz wasn't intimidated in the least.

Huckaby on Fox news right now trashing Cruz. Now I know why I never liked or trusted Huckaby. It was just a gut feeling then.....

It was a classic WWF move. One wrestler in the ring talking to the crowd when the arch enemy wrestler enters the arena and the crowd goes wild. Its a lowlife move best suited to reality TV and wrestling but it is what Trump is.

The best part of the whole ordeal. The fact that no matter how much they hate Ted Cruz right now, they still respect him far more than they will ever respect the servile puppies who have groveled at the feet of Lord Trump.

It is NOT politics, it is personal. I will tell the truth, I will not malign, I will not insult, I will not attack, I will tell the truth. This is not a game, this is not politics, right and wrong matters, we have not abandoned who we are in this country.
If anyone thinks I was eager to come and give a speech, laying out supporting a great many policy positions of Trump, and why Hillary is utterly unfit to be president, despite not having them take back what was said in the campaign about me and my family, I had an obligation to speak, and I will say, what does it say when you stand up and say "vote your conscience" and rabid supporters stand up and say "What a horrible thing to say"?
If we can't make a case to the American people, that voting for our Republican nominee is consistent with voting our conscience, defending freedom and is faithful to constitution, than we are not gonna win and we don't deserve to win. THAT'S how you win elections.

Limbaugh has gone full Trumpbot, finally. He's saying Cruz committed career suicide, that the people supporting him are in the minority, that #NeverTrumpers are flooding over to defend Trump, LOL. And he's saying it while laughing that "heh heh heh" wheezy fat man's laugh.

In 10 years you'll be hard pressed to find a senator who won't claim they were on their feet cheering wildly for Ted Cruz on this night.

This speech would have been a gold mine for Rush back in the day. Full of Constitution, values, and the principles that make Conservatism. He is selling out to the cult of personality over the values that the party once stood for.

Disappointing if true. I dont see the NeverTrumpers rushing to trash Cruz-- See Jonah Goldberg.

Really like Rush-- but why the need to Trash Cruz?

We can still be Trump realists and vote our conscience for Trump while supporting Cruz in his future career choices-- including 2020 should Trump not make the cut.

Are people not able to hold two or three concepts in their heads at a time?

Or deal with dichotomies or ambiguities ?

I just looked in at TOS, okay so I'm a masochist but not so much that I'll vote Trump, and the first post I see is by a of course a former Cruz supporter asking where all the Cruzers on FR have gone. I replied Run off long ago. Gone somewhere where dissent is allowed. Of course since all my posts are under mandatory moderator review I doubt that it will be allowed to post. Then again with that site in such lock step now they may allow it to serve as chum so that all the sharks there can have a feeding frenzy.
