Heavy Metal?

Is there no heavy metal thread for us heavy metal conservatives? There should be since there are a lot of conservative leaning heavy metal singers and band members.

I'm not usually a fan of covers but this one is a great cover of a 1970s tune by some guys who love our military and veterans.

Not my kind of music but I used to work in a bindery with the lead singer (Todd Cushman) back in the early 90s in Jackson Mi..
Super polite and nice guy. Very intelligent guy. We used to talk about science and science fiction a lot.

Hard to argue with Dio as the greatest metal vocalist ever.

I assume Tool qualifies as metal still...right?  Love the band, but not always a fan of Keenan's vocals, though.  Go figure.  Plus, he's a big left-winger, whereas metal acts are more likely than others to be conservative.

Could listen to Carey's drumming all day.  The bridge that begins at 4:35-4:40 is just stuff you don't hear in a lot of metal.
