Unless they have been involved in this before, they may not know about the tradition. You'll probably have several States pass so New York can cast the deciding vote.

She didn't say it was a good surprise. She has been posting live on facebook as this is going on and is as shocked about some of the allocation as we are- re bound delegates being allocated to candidates they aren't bound to.

If they didn't pass the rule saying they couldn't do that, it wouldn't be an issue.

They cut off any other candidates from being formally being put into nomination. There have been a few cases where they cut off other mics and had awkward pauses when something went on. I think we are just not seeing objections or attempts to make statements.
