The word on Morning Joe is that Trump said only a top staffer would be assigned to Melania for her speech, so it's likely Manafort put his top guy on it.

That's why Manafort is trying to blow this off as somehow coming from Hillary (an insult to the intelligence of anybody listening to him). 

He knows he's going to have to whack one of his guys.

Trump's name is placed in nomination at 5:30 EST today followed by a roll call of states.  That's the next opening for #DumpTrump.

Posted on the other thread too: On the citizens for trump page, the spin they are going with is she was honoring Michelle and other first ladies by incorporating their themes. Not kidding.

Justin Ashash pointed out that its like a voice vote in congress. Its done to hide a lack of support or provide cover for those who do support but don't want their names attached. He also points out that the rule has always been 7 states.

What the GOP did with the help of Team Trump yesterday was give the unaccountable RNC full control. Exactly the opposite of what Trump claims to be about.

If the delegates don't cause a disruption on a daily basis for being utterly ignored, they have failed us all.

I need to hear that they won't stop chanting "roll call vote" over the speakers for hours on end.
