So, it’s Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
Or maybe it’s not. Who knows? We still haven’t had the rose ceremony, and Trump is dilly-dallying like a reality TV star trying to make the final cut.
Oh, wait.
But assuming that the media reports are correct, we know a few things.
We know that Chris Christie is sitting somewhere, alone in a room, stuffing his face with Twinkies and Cheetos, crying and singing to himself, “All by myself….don’t wanna be…all by myself!”
We know that Newt Gingrich has commissioned himself a pirate ship to the moon.
We know that Donald Trump is learning how to pronounce Mike Pence’s name, but will fail to do so correctly.
And we know that Trump doesn’t care about any of his supposed top priorities. Because, as it turns out, Pence disagrees with him on all of them. And Pence won’t win over undecided conservatives, either – he’s sold conservatism short on a variety of scores over the past few years, destroying his right-wing bona fides.
